Registered Architect

Biasol is a multidisciplinary design practice focused on interior, building, product and branded environments. We have an opportunity for a Registered Architect (must be registered with ARBV) with a minimum 6-8 years’ experience working in Australia to become an integral part of our team, delivering projects across residential, multi-residential, hospitality and commercial environments.

Your strong communication skills and technical ability will set you apart from all other candidates. You’ll have a good understanding of the design process, best practice and have an ability to drive projects throughout all phases from concept through to construction documentation.

The role is ideal for someone with a passion for building design and interior design and an intention of growing with a team that works without division on a range of exciting projects locally and internationally. You’ll be able to contribute creatively, drive project outcomes and ultimately produce award-winning design.


  • Deliver projects from concept through to construction documentation on time, to budget and studio expectation
  • Manage and communicate all aspects of project design development and technical detail to the project team
  • Assist and lead project construction documentation, technical drawing and specifications as required to ensure the design intent is maintained throughout all phases
  • Liaise and work directly with the team, coordinate consultants, RFI’s and other professionals independently and in collaboration
  • Contribute to and maintain the Biasol design and documentation standards, procedures and systems to ensure efficiencies and quality are delivered across all projects

Required Experience

  • Registered Architect with ARBV
  • A minimum 6-8 years’ local experience in a similar role within an architectural or interior studio
  • Relevant recognised degree education within architecture
  • Strong design, documentation and detailing skills
  • Experience producing technical drawings and construction documentation packages for commercial and residential buildings
  • Sound knowledge of BCA regulations and Australian standards applicable to residential development
  • Sound understanding of space planning, structural and spatial analysis
  • Strong client and consultant engagement and project management experience

Required Attributes

  • Strong ArchiCAD and AutoCAD proficiency are essential (we are an ArchiCAD-based studio)
  • Highly organised person with great attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Adobe Creative Suite proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign
  • Microsoft Office proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Great work ethic and a desire to deliver beyond expectation
  • 3D modelling in Rhino is desirable
