Mid-Level Architect

Our studio is growing and in search of a Mid-Level Architect with a love of interiors. You will have a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience working for a design studio throughout all phases of a project. You’ll be an integral part of our team of architects, interior architects, interior designers, product designers and brand developers working on a range of projects spanning residential and commercial environments. Your strong communication skills and technical ability will set you apart from all other candidates. You’ll have a good understanding of the design process, best practice and have an ability to drive projects from concept through to construction documentation.

The role is ideal for someone with a passion for architecture and interiors, form and function, materiality, detail, and an intention of growing with a team that works without division on a range of exciting projects locally and internationally. You’ll be able to contribute creatively, drive projects and ultimately improve design outcomes across multiple residential and commercial projects.


  • Deliver projects from concept through to construction documentation on time, to budget and studio expectation
  • Manage and communicate all aspects of project design development and technical detail to the project team and clients
  • Assist and lead project construction documentation, technical drawing and specifications as required
  • Drive projects and assist the team with design development and presentations to ensure the design intent is maintained throughout all phases
  • Liaise and work directly with the team, coordinate consultants, RFI’s and other professionals independently and in collaboration

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role within an architectural or interior studio
  • Relevant recognised degree education within architecture
  • Experience producing technical drawings and construction documentation packages for commercial and residential buildings
  • Proven experience on residential and commercial projects
  • Sound knowledge of BCA regulations and Australian standards applicable to residential development
  • Sound understanding of space planning, structural and spatial analysis
  • Experience at similar architectural and interior architectural firms

Required Attributes

  • Strong Revit and AutoCAD proficiency are essential
  • 3D modelling in Rhino is desirable
  • Highly organised person with great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise tasks and time efficiently
  • Adobe Creative Suite proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign
  • Microsoft Office proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Great work ethic and a desire to deliver beyond expectation
