Biasol looks to Tulum for interiors of Tasmania’s Sisterhood restaurant by Natasha Levy for Dezeen

[Extract] Leaf-print walls, rattan seating and deep-green decor details merge to form the tropical interiors of this restaurant in Tasmania, which Biasol has designed to evoke the atmosphere of a holiday hot-spot in Mexico.

Left inspired after a trip to the balmy shores of Tulum, design studio Biasol worked to create interiors for Sisterhood which “imbue a sense of nostalgia for a holiday escape”.

The restaurant is situated in the Sandy Bay suburb of Tasmania’s capital, Hobart, serving up a seasonal menu of dishes made from locally grown ingredients.
